Crookston Watch Intern
The Crookston Pirates lost 10-0 to a tough Warroad Warriors team in the Section 8A semifinals Saturday, Feb. 7 at the East Grand Forks Civic Center.
Crookston goaltender Madi Abrams stopped 47 of 57 shots, while the Warriors held the Pirates to 12 total shots on goal.
Scoring goals for the Warriors were Olivia Anthony (2), Taylor Reese (2), Jaylie French 2, Linnea Harren, Emmie Hardwick, Reagan Haley, and Ava Corrington.
The Pirates finish their season with a 7-18-1 record and say goodbye to seniors Ashlyn Bailey, Logan Brekken, Emma LaPlante, and Ava Martin.Scoring
